Mr Suhaimi Zainul-Abidin graduated from the University of Nottingham with a LL.B (hons) degree and began his career as an advocate and solicitor in the preeminent Singapore law firm of Allen & Gledhill LLP in 2006. Suhaimi became a partner at Allen & Gledhill LLP in 2010. His legal practice included advising financial institutions and blue chip corporations in bank financing transactions, including syndicated loans and domestic and cross-border project, trade, property and share financing transactions. He has been named by various legal and industry guides as a leading and notable legal practitioner in his areas of specialization.


In 2013, Suhaimi joined Quantedge Capital Pte Ltd, as director and general counsel. He was elevated to the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2018.


Suhaimi currently holds the appointments of Council Member of Charity Council, Director of Skillsfuture Singapore agency (SSG), Director of National Environment Agency (NEA), Executive Committee Member of the Breast Cancer Foundation, Director of Mendaki Social Enterprise Network Pte Ltd (Mendaki SENSE), and Director of Warees Investments.


While serving his national service obligations in 1999, Suhaimi was awarded the Sword-of-Honour for being the best infantry officer cadet, and the prize for Best in Military Knowledge.
